FR. Le film a été en compétition lors du Festival international du film fantastique d'Avoriaz 1975.
Est un OVNI cinématographique français réalisé et écrit par Alain Robbe-Grillet qui met en images sur un design signé Hilton McConnico (Diva de Jean-Jacques Beineix et vivement dimanche de François Truffaut) et une très belle photographie de Yves Lafaye une étrange histoire ou un riche Banquier (joué par Philippe Noiret) demande a un étrange homme a double facette (joué par Jean-Louis Trintignant) d'enfermé sa fille (jouée par Anicée Alvina) dans une clinique spécialisée. Mais l'établissement, sous des dehors très respectables, s'avère être une maison de plaisir pour maniaques sexuels... parmi lesquelles on y trouve Sylvia Kristel, Christine Boisson, Joëlle Cœur (une actrice de charme qui est apparu dans des œuvres comme Je suis frigide... pourquoi ? (ou Comment le Désir vient aux filles), de Max Pécas et Jeunes filles impudiques, de Jean Rollin), Nathalie Zeiger (une autre actrice de charme qui a apparu dans Glissements progressifs du plaisir d'Alain Robbe-Grillet et Les Onze Mille Verges d'Eric Lipmann) et sans oublié Agostina Belli qui apparait en femme de chambre... Après avoir réalisé par Glissements progressifs du plaisir ou il y avait déjà Jean-Louis Trintignant et Anicée Alvina... Alain Robbe Grillet récidive avec ce film OVNI qui tourne en dérision les formes traditionnelles du récit cinématographique, malmène les habitudes de perception et s'en prend a l'illusion réaliste, en imposant un postulat ou il joue les stéréotypes, les clichés sado masochistes, les situations érotiques et s'amuse a égaré le spectateur en multipliant les personnages qui jouent double jeu (Philippe Noiret tantôt Banquier tantôt écrivain ou Jean Louis Trintignant...) , retourne les situations (surtout pour le plan final qu'il ne faut pas révéler) et disperse les fils de l'intrigue ou il reprend les procédés de déconstruction du long métrage en a faisant un brillant exercice de remise en question du langage cinématographique... qui est a voir a plusieurs reprises.
EN. Playing with Fire is a 1975 French-Italian comedy-drama film and starring Jean-Louis Trintignant. One of his most commercially successful films, down mostly to the presence of "Emmanuelle" star Sylvia Kristel.
Alain Robbe-Grillet’s mid-career comedy “Le jeu avec le feu” can politely be described as an intensely self-aware parody. I prefer to call it a piss-take of Italian gialli. What you see in the film is not necessarily the truth, and characters are also not what they claim to be. To add to the chaos, actors return to play different characters during its run-time – perhaps this is a Freudian examination, perhaps it is reminding us that everything, like the film, is make-believe, or perhaps the characters themselves are two-faced.
The film begins with banker Georges de Saxe (Philippe Noiret) receiving a demand for ransom from a couple of visiting baddies for something they haven’t achieved yet – they’re yet to kidnap the banker’s precious daughter Carolina (Anicée Alvina), who’s still safely ensconced in her room upstairs.
In order to protect her, Georges hires detective Frantz (Jean-Louis Trintignant) who’d been telegraphed to the audience in advance as working for the kidnappers. Frantz suggests housing Carolina for her own protection at a place the kidnappers would least bother to look – a high-class brothel run by Erica von Eigher (Martine Jouot). He introduces the place to an innocent Carolina as some kind of a ‘clinic’ for women suffering from ‘exhaustion’.
We can easily see where this plot is heading from here, but then again, we may not. Whatever the case, it wouldn’t matter. For most of its duration, the film is an unbridled indulgence in fantasised masochism, a pastime Robbe-Grillet had never hidden or apologised for throughout his personal life. We see thugs bundle away in public view young maidens from night clubs, morning jogs, and even from wedding ceremonies. As Carolina strolls through doors in Erica’s mansion to discover torrid happenings à la Alice in Wonderland, the film teases the audience through Carolina’s implied and faux sexual awakening. It gets ridiculous towards the end to such an extent that a character even complains to camera that the typist girl had messed up the film’s script sequence..!
What is noteworthy however is the straight face with which some of the biggest stars in French cinema play their respective mixed-up roles – they surely relished their outing here. The set designs and shot compositions are done with the greatest care and attention to detail that for a moment, you might think you’re watching a Visconti or Bergman.

Emmanuelle. 1974. FULL-HD.

FR. 8,9 millions de spectateurs en France, plus de 100 millions à travers le monde. Sorti en juin 1974, Emmanuelle. Il est considéré aujourd'hui comme un film culte.
Comme un porte-bonheur, Emmanuelle est resté à l'affiche de l'UGC Triomphe, sur les Champs-Élysées, treize années durant. « On figurait dans le circuit des tour-opérateurs japonais, entre le Louvre et la tour Eiffel, se souvient Just Jaeckin, son metteur en scène, artiste touche-à-tout, photographe, sculpteur et réalisateur de publicités. Les Espagnols franchissaient même la frontière pour le voir, car il était à l'époque interdit par le régime franquiste. »
Au fil des mois et malgré les scandales qu'il déclenche, ce long métrage s'impose comme un véritable phénomène de société. « C'était le premier film érotique écrit par une femme (Emmanuelle Arsan), dont le succès a reposé sur les femmes, qui composaient une grande partie de son public », analyse Jaeckin. Au début, pourtant, personne n'y croyait. « Gainsbourg, l'un de mes copains, a refusé d'en faire la musique. C'était une petite production, tournée avec très peu de moyens, mais qui a profité de circonstances favorables : la pilule, la libération sexuelle, l'abolition de la censure avec l'élection de Giscard d'Estaing... »
« Elle était si belle, si pure. J'aurais pris une fille plus aguicheuse, le film aurait été mort », reconnaît le réalisateur. Le cinéma et la télévision ont exploité le filon, donnant lieu à des suites malheureuses. « De film de cul, il est devenu culte, mais ce n'est pas aujourd'hui que j'aurais voulu l'entendre, déplore-t-il. Je n'oublie pas tout ce qu'on a écrit de virulent à mon sujet à sa sortie. J'ai vécu trois années de black-out total. Je ne vendais plus une seule sculpture, car les collectionneurs estimaient que je les avais trahis. Les journaux ne voulaient plus de mes photos, je ne pouvais plus tourner de publicités. J'étais devenu infréquentable. » À jamais « M. Emmanuelle ».
EN. Emmanuelle is the first and most infamous of the French softcore-porn series about a young woman's awakening to new sexual dimensions. Sylvia Kristel became a star with her portrayal of Emmanuelle, the suppressed wife of a diplomat. By virtue of her husband's profession, Emmanuelle is introduced to any number of handsome, virile men and beautiful, adventurous women, all more than willing to escort the sheltered young lady to the farthest reaches of sensuality. Nudity and eroticism abounds in Emmanuelle, but the sex scenes are discreetly photographed (shadows and elusive camera angles predominate) to evoke eroticism and suggestiveness in lieu of raunch. As the Emmanuelle series dragged on, the sex became more perfunctory and the storylines overladen with gimmicks; this film is comparatively basic and straightforward. Emmanuelle is based on the allegedly autobiographical book by Emmanuelle Arsan.
In the first 14 weeks after its released 2 1/2 million Frenchmen stood in line for it.

Nel castello di una facoltosa famiglia viene rievocato, durante una seduta spiritica, lo spirito di Lucrezia, una antenata della casata. Lo spirito di Lucrezia tenta, nella stessa notte, di impossessarsi dell'anima di suor Sofia, la quale vive da tempo nel castello per prendersi cura del paralitico Adolfo, proprietario del castello assieme al fratello Andrea e marito di Nais. Non riuscendovi si impossessa dunque dell'anima dell'adolescente Bimba, figlia di Andrea, che fino ad allora aveva trascorso una vita molto ritirata e riservata.
Nei giorni successivi il comportamento di Bimba muta radicalmente, a causa dell'influsso malefico dell'anima di Lucrezia, e più volte, ella, inconsciamente, mette in luce i vizi sessuali e perversi dei componenti della propria famiglia, in particolar modo della nonna e della zia Nais, e sottolinea la vita lussuriosa e depravata che si conduce all'interno del castello. In the castle of a wealthy family, a seance is held to contact the spirit of a woman who had been murdered. Instead, the spirit of Lucrezia, an ancestor of the family, is recalled during the seance. Lucrezia tries to take possession of the soul of Sister Sofia, who has lived in the castle to take care of the paralytic Adolfo, owner of the castle together with his brother Andrea, the husband of the murdered woman. Not succeeding, she takes possession instead of the body of the adolescent Bimba, daughter of Andrea and the murdered woman, who until then had spent a very withdrawn and reserved life.
In the following days the behavior of Bimba radically changes, due to the evil influence of Lucrezia's soul, and several times, she falls prey of the perverse sexual urges of Lucrezia, while unconsciously sheds light on the sexual and perverse vices of her family members. The family members, worried, entrust the girl to the care of Sister Sofia. The relationship between Bimba and Sister Sofia grows more confidential and between them a loving friendship is born. But in reality Bimba, subjugated by the soul of Lucrezia, sexually tempts the nun into a downward spiral of unspeakable debauchery.

NL. Het debuut is een Nederlandse film uit 1977 onder regie van Nouchka van Brakel. Het is een verfilming van het boek Het debuut van Hester Albach en tot filmscenario verwerkt door Carel Donck en Nouchka van Brakel. De film heeft als internationale titel The Debut.
Nouchka van Brakel, die hiermee haar debuut maakte evenals hoofdrolspelers Gerard Cox en Marina de Graaf, zou als eerste vrouwelijke regisseur de boeken in gaan van de Nederlandse film.
De 14-jarige Carolien krijgt een relatie met de 41-jarige Hugo, een vriend van haar ouders die vanuit Zambia op kerstvakantie is in Nederland. De twee spreken af op geheime locaties zoals in hotels. De relatie loopt uit op een drama als de vrouw van Hugo, Rita, zwanger wordt, en Hugo zijn relatie voor Carolien niet wil verbreken. Carolien reageert op een laconieke manier, dat ze makkelijk zonder Hugo kan. Op school wordt ze echter voor ouwe vrijster uitgemaakt en uit emotie knoopt ze het aan met de versierder van de school, waardoor ze depressief wordt. Uiteindelijk komt het goed nadat Hugo vertrokken is naar Afrika.

EN. A new age Mondo film that explores the realm of urban decay and various oddities of the modern world, ranging from underground club scenes to sex change operations.
Typically narrated in a racist and sexist fashion, it starts by first showing different women around the world doing certain strange acts for common reasons. Other cultural oddities are observed, such as Hindu men jumping into a well to show their bravery, before moving on to government officials performing an autopsy to prove there are drugs hidden in the body. Cultural aphrodisiacs are shown, most involving killing animals in some way. Eventually, after an introduction of female impersonators, a graphic sex change operation is shown in bloody detail, and finally begins to wrap up with forbidden tattooing in Japan, and more acts of "bravery" as men chop their own fingers off. A mondo-obscurity that is, like always, not for the faint of heart.
The name "Mondo cane" hadn't been used for a Mondo film since Mondo cane n. 2 (1963). This film incorporated the title in order to cash in on Собачий мир (1962)'s notoriety, and is therefore known as Mondo Cane 3 in some video releases.
